This is what I wanted, and it took me a whole day to find it.

I remember it, but it is a journey worth sharing. Above is Deborah Kerr in a scene from Cary Grant: The Leading Man (1988). These are the most sincere, thought-out, and timeless interviews I have ever seen. I just want to watch them over and over.

Ms. Kerr steals the show, aside from Archie himself. I have no problem referring to him as Mr. Grant also.

Thanks to AI and Kelsey Grammer. My search started with, Why does Kelsey Grammer look so much better in Frasier than he did in Cheers? Sometimes lives seem almost planned, they work out so symmetrically. I cannot possibly share the full stories of why their lives are so similar here; I wouldn’t do it justice and at some point it would sound personal and I never even communicated with either of them. As for Mr. Grammer, I can only say I applaud his efforts and I wish him the very best.

I’m still wondering why I find it so compelling. But I am getting closer and closer to the reasons. Probably AI can come up with a pretty good list of reasons too.

There is a new one too, a 2024 Cary Grant documentary. His life and legacy are amazing; the video is great and it is a part of a 34-bio set but I highly doubt anyone can match Grant. Ms. Kerr was the most elegant spokesperson: “The most striking thing about Cary is how fantastically good-looking he was.” Look who is saying it. That is what I remembered.
