1. Big R parking lot. dB in the 50-60 range with spikes above 65. Quiet environment, i.e. no people or machines around. Continuous jet airplane roar for the whole 5-10 minutes.
2. Similar behind Safeway at construction location; machinery was dormant. Loud prop and jet airplane noise. Spikes above 70. Repeat, construction was not in progress but numerous heavy machines were parked.
3. Elk Meadow – Similar if not slightly quieter. No noticeable aircraft noise.
4. Home Depot parking lot. dB 50-70. Loud propeller aircraft virtually the entire time; faint jet roar too. Again, quiet environment: no people or machinery around.
