HP Z 24″ 1920×1200

Marketing starts with product and this is an exceptionally good one. Everything is thought-out, functional, well-made, and stylish. This includes the size, screen, stand, and even the power cord is longer and thinner than normal.
This monitor is the closest thing to an old-fashioned TV you can buy today in terms of size and aspect ratio. It is not perfect for either, but it strikes a midpoint between current FHD (1920×1080) and old 4:3 (5:4 monitors) in its 16:10 1920×1200 aspect ratio and resolution.
I started my search thinking I wanted an adjustable stand,16:10, 24″ or 27″ and less than 32″, not FHD, one usb port or more for a light, DisplayPort and HDMI and preferably VGA too, black and/or very attractive, modern small bezels but solid and not fragile, plus hopefully a normal power cord and not a big power block. Also, usb-c! And I have always wanted a DP cable!!
I got lucky. This monitor has it all. eBay, though, is not always so friendly. My online review:
I got lucky on these, but the seller was responsible. The HP z24 is an unusually fine product-super design, performance, looks and ports. I bought 2. They are both perfect condition original packing (sans vesa mount, aside from hours of use per the meters, the only way I could tell they were opened). Delivered in days in a b-to-b like fashion, one on Saturday. Great price too, but most importantly not the usual hassle and risk of “used” on eBay, i.e., described used AND open box. Comm good
