Responsible Statecraft – These people are afraid of Russia.
Mick Ryan came on DW in the video loop and he uses the word “momentum.” Earlier, Sean Bell said it too. And Mr. Ryan asks about the Russian losses and when it will mean something; they are now over 1,000 per day in humans. I disagree with the symposium above. It is too pessimistic. The Ukrainians know their enemy better than anyone–they know what Russia can do to get them out and they are going for it. They have seized the momentum.
The People. Do cellphones and the internet mean the fall of communism and dictators?
I cannot find it in my vast video archives. That woman interviewed, I think at a bus stop in Sudja in a planned development in front of a big apartment building. How many of these people own cars? It is a very limited life. They are not allowed to complain. But at least it was safe.
