#1 Money

When a family member or close friends writes you a lot of checks it is because of other problems. It is the ultimate example of what is now referred-to as transactional. My mother wrote a lot of checks.

The embezzler is after money. He craves. He craves something that is distant or not there at all. There is never enough. But there is enough and they survive, possibly even above their income or savings level. They are transactions that come and go, and there are times when they go in dramatic fashion and outward appearance helps support that.

Remember the Corvette?

That is the backdrop–the story. The character deficiency is I prefer not to have a lawyer doing it on their timeframe (not to mention the court’s) and speaking for me. I have some very basic questions and hold-ups at this point.

Autism

Could it be? The autism spectrum is scary. I didn’t learn it in school; it appeared in the Manual in 1980 widened in DSM as a spectrum in 1994. What has changed? No. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx4Qk1ybrb0 ) I thought it was cellphones. I was wrong. This is also covered in the Kohberger post. It does not apply here.

Dementia

What is the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s? Why is it increasing? Demographics and diagnosis only? Four per 1,000 is not common.

Why it matters: That means about one in nine people 65 and older (11%) have dementia believed to be caused by Alzheimer’s — but addressing cognitive decline early can help stave off the disease.
